Lawrence County Taxes are mailed out on March 1st every year. Taxpayers can take advantage of a discount by paying the tax amount due on or before May 1st, also known as the “Discount Period”.

TAXES PAID
On or Before May 1st	Discount Amount	You will pay the face amount minus a discount for paying your taxes early.
May 2nd - June 30th	Face Amount	The face amount shown on your tax bill is owed.
On or After July 1st	Penalty Amount	You are liable for the face amount of your taxes, plus a penalty for paying late.

     Treasurer’s Office
     430 Court Street, New Castle

ESB Bank (All Lawrence County Branch Offices)
