must Recycle:
All residents and businesses of New Castle are required by state and
local laws to recycle at their curb.

Materials Collected
(residential only):

Clear, brown, and green glass bottles and jars,
·
Aluminum, steel, and tin cans (including empty aerosol and
paint cans with the lids removed)

#1 &
#2 plastic bottles
Please note that only bottles, jars, and cans are recyclable in the
curbside program. Do not include other items such as windows, toys,
tubing, etc.
Lawrence County has a Big Blue Bin recycling site at the
Courthouse. New Castle residents can use it to recycle their
Magazines, Newspapers, and Corrugated Cardboard.
Businesses must also recycle, but may pick the recycling hauler of
their choice.
