Chairman

Lawrence County is a great place to live, work and recreate. Our citizens are caring people with strong family values, compassion for the less fortunate, and a tremendous work ethic. Our location in West Central Pennsylvania is ideal for reaching markets all over the eastern seaboard and the Midwest. The business climate here is   exceptional with shovel ready sites on the market, and more on the way. The labor force is trained and motivated The Commissioners Office stands ready to assist you in any way possible. If I can help please email me.

It has been two years since I was elected as one of your Commissioners. A good portion of that time was a learning process. My reason for running for Commissioner was to try to improve the central business districts of Lawrence County. I am on the board of “New Visions of Lawrence County” and that has given me an ability to push their agenda. They are, and will be, an essential link to help revitalize the business districts. The Commissioners have recently passed a resolution that will lower taxes over a five-year period. This will help property owners and businesses that want to expand or come to Lawrence County as a new business to ease the tax burden. The Commissioners are hoping that the Boroughs, Townships and the City of New Castle will adopt the same tax abatement plan.

As one of your Lawrence County Commissioners, I will do my best to work with Dan and Steve in order to improve all areas of commerce and the quality of life for the residents of Lawrence County. Any questions or concerns, please email me or call me at 724-656-2178
